Formed in September of 1997, the Crusaders were the first open clan, allowing services and sales to every adventurer in the realm of Aardwolf.

Late 12/98 - Early 1/99 - After a long and succesful career as the Holy Crusaders and leaders of the clan, Spydabyte and Tassica decide to step down. The Crusaders are continued on under the leadership of Laird Lornaco and Alor Aravan.
On a cool fall day in the year of 1998, Aravan and Mirrim are wed in the Midgaard Cathedral.
1/99 - Palador is inducted into the Crusaders.
1/99 - Ardwolf is inducted into the Crusaders.
1/99 - Job is inducted into the Crusaders.
2/99 - Garandil is inducted into the Crusaders.

3/99 - Big Mike and the Crusader's Corner are added to the
hall (original idea and food/drink descriptions by Covair, Crusader's Corner
description by Palador); around the same time, the infamous Crusader famine
ends...
Big Mike annoys the clan by constantly yelling about raiders, soon to be
silenced by Claire... We can't thank her enough!
3/99 - The Temple becomes more detailed with the addition of several descriptions. (Beneath a Swaying Arbor, The Majestic Hallway, Big Mike, written by Job)
4/11/99 - Job decides to defend the clan hall against
derogatory names such as 'The local brothel' on gclan channel.
Job decides to call everyone on the channel an 'electric donkey bottom biter'.
Job wins.
Later that day... Job gets anxious to help the clan. Aravan
suggests clearing out the Nine Hells due to rumors of evil beings there. Lornaco
changes that to clearing the Nine Hells and challenging Lasher without rest or
heal. The question of how to challenge Lasher came up, so the Lasher task was
removed. Valkur was then substituted for Lasher.
INFO: Job has challenged the evil demonlord of the land to a duel.
INFO: Valkur has been slain by the mighty Job! Due to Job's victory, Nine Hells
task was dropped. Job becomes the Crusader's Official Demon Slayer.
4/12/99 - YewCho is inducted into the Crusaders.

I'm proud to report that the temple of the crusaders has been successfully
bombed by Outcast troops. Here's a video clip:

The reasons behind this bombing campaign is that we found weapons of mass destruction in the alleged "Donation room" of the crusader "temple." We demand that these weapons be removed, and Neutral Outcast weapons inspectors be put in. We also have reason to believe that newbies are being herded into the overcrowded resting rooms, and being fed poor food and ale. Intelligence sources state that a mug of ale was found on the floor in the Crusaders Temple, suggesting that one or more of the crusaders may have been indulging in the consumption of alcoholic beverages while crusading. The Outcasts will continue bombing strikes until terms of peace can be agreed upon.
Oh, and we want a swimming pool in crusaders' hall.

5-11-99 The Bards give there best attempt at 'raiding' the Crusader Temple and leave behind much garbage and many Bombs. Luckily, most of the Bombs were diffused and given to the Nameless One. A 'nice them to death' approach seemed to have a good effect against the raid. Oh well, revenge is always fun...
6-8-99 Delirium is inducted into the Crusaders.
7-24-99 The Satchel of Sanctity was added to the Expedition Shop.
7-25-99 Sariona and Zeerus are wed. Congratulations!
8-10-99 Sariona is inducted into the Crusaders.
9-6-99 Zeerus is promoted to the third leadership position.
9-10-99 Lornaco scares the clan by going Twinlobian and filling the clan channel with many facts of intellect... Luckily, he was quickly cured before any permanent damage was done to his brain.
9-12-99 Loranco feels the need to show his power by picking on the smaller clannies: WARFARE: Zeerus has been slain by Lornaco.

9-30-99 Ajas is inducted into the Crusaders.
10-5-99 Lornaco and Ceallach are wed. Congratulations!
11-1-99 Fusoya is inducted into the Crusaders.
11-10-99 The Crusaders decide the Bard Hall is a little too dark, so we light it up by dropping a few hundred balls and hallowed lights around the hall.
11-13-99 Lornaco SH's. Rah! After receiving such a nice death threat, I'd like to strike that last entry and replace it with:

The clan does a little housekeeping and thins down to about 9-10 active members.
May 2002- Lornaco and Hermione step down from their leadership
of the Crusaders and Kimber, Kylock, and Aravan accept the responsibility of
resurrecting our once-glorious clan.
Latana takes over the duties of the clan website.
June-July 2002- The Clan is slowly rebuilding itself.
The Clan now accepts the Warrior race as long as the applicant plans to remort
paladin or cleric. (No exceptions. Failure to follow this requirement results in
exile.)

September 02 - Dreamfyre purchases his manor, the Crystal Tower of Beraid-Aeron, found at: 3n3e4n2enesen5e5se2s2esu from Aardestates 2000. Dreamfyre and Suiranrot are married. Suiranrot moves in.
The Starting of Discussions: Discussion I was held Sunday October 20th, 2002 7-9p.m. Mud time. Dreamfyre promoted to Gallant.
November/December - Suiranrot and Celon appointed leader to cope with increasing inactivity. Kapo (Ballack) outcasts himself because he did not attain leadership. Lylah and Katonya inducted. Clan falls back into inactivity, despite leaders' attempts to organize two meetings. Clan goes No-PK. Champ, Soulstrikr and Interim outcast to the dismay of their fellow clan members.
January 03
Lylah outcasted.
Servus inducted.
Ronnie, the clan's first tier, is inducted within two week limit, prompting
debate about current induction process. Ronnie proceeds to donate 19 million
upon induction, making him quickly a loved member ;).

Ronnie, Servus, and Katonya all promoted to Gallant throughout month.
Discussion II held. Decision made to outcast the inactive Aeryka. Dreamfyre's
suggestion of changing clan name to =Escorts= shot down. Changes made to
application process and induction process. New team appointed to take care of
new website. Plans put into motion to continue expansion of temple with four new
rooms, one of which will be an official meeting room so that discussion can stop
being held in the morgue. sketches available: 1, 2, and 3. Fusoya goes to work
towards sketching ideas for temple as well.
At Dreamfyre's incessant nagging, Aravan concedes to allow the donation of qp.
Subsequently, rate of increase of clan account shoots up temporarily as the
level-sitters toss all their qp into the clan account.
Discussion III held on January the 26th at 7pm Mudtime. Attended by Dreamfyre,
Ronnie, Servus, and Frolo. Plans for layout finalized. Vote regarding
potato/transporter/milkbone door to council gazebo raised. Statues to honour
Spydabyte and Tassica to be placed in description for Council gazebo.
February 10 - Pane inducted. Welcome Pane!
19 - Suiranrot suggests we rework the promotion system - status pending. Ronnie
and Servus promoted to Sergeant.
March
Sometime within the month Kylock had been archived.
12 - Dreamfyre freezes himself for personal reasons. Will return later!
Within the week of Monday the 17th the new rooms had been added, go check them
out! (run wu2se and just explore from there :)

Within 6 months many people outcast sadly.. yet after every storm there is a
clear sky!
The clan rules start being enforced properly, the leaders actively spread the
word about Crusader, and the clan slowly begins to rebuild to it's former honor
and glory!
Cheers for perserverance in the eyes of hate and almost certain defeat Celon and
Latana! The Crusaders will forever in their hearts honor you both for the hard
work and dedication you have shown.

June 06 - After a nasty incident
involving the illegal outcasting of Keinana, several members leave the clan and
some join Tao. Refinnej, Latana and Caoilin step down from leadership, new
leaders are Confusion, Gathaldrium, Kalea, Nogari and Sunaura.
July 06 - A flea infestation takes hold in the Crusader clan temple, the leaders are helpless against the numbers and ask for assistance from the imms and the Nameless One, but to no avail. Swe informs the clan that they are fleas in training to become Circus fleas, and will not bother us long. Free shows to everybody who is nice to Swe.
Continents are in! ... and the fleas relocate to Ivar's throne room.
Caoilin hosts a not-so-Nameless Trivia for the Summer Festival, Jennie won it. The 2nd and 3rd places were Mij and Akujen

Swe is involved in a horrible flea-related circus accident and the plastic surgeons give up halfway through the operation. He ends up looking like Kenzo.
October 06 - Kenzo applies for leadership position and gets unanimous Yes votes! Wtg Kenzo! Current leadership is Confusion, Gathaldrium, Kalea, Kenzo and Nogari.
November 17 - Eadric is recruited into the clan!
