Note System

The clan uses the mud's note system for communication and official notifications. It is thus important for all members to be familiar with the prefixes used. They are as follows:

ANNOUNCE - Announcements regarding important matters or emergencies that need attending to.

GENERAL or INFO - General information notes. Can be on a variety of topics, from rule explanations to speedwalk shortcuts, etc.

APPLICANT(S) - Used for current clan applicants' status feedback and application process progress.

REPORT - The weekly and monthly reports on clan levels gained, activity, etc.

PERSONAL - Notes regarding personal (non-mud) matters. Mostly used to give reasons for absence.

DISCUSSION - As the name implies, these notes are posted to discuss a particular topic. When posting replies to a discussion, please use "note reply ***" to reply to the correct thread, don't start new posts or threads. This will lead to confusion, and if somebody wants to do a review of the discussion, might miss your posts because of a dissimilar subject line.

VOTE - These will specify if you should reply to the note with your vote or if there is a new vote on the booth for you take part in. Follow the intructions in the note body.

Activity Notes

NB - Newbie Bag. This should be posted to the whole clan when you do a NB for somebody, so that other members can check when somebody requests a NB, to prevent double handouts.

CR - Corpse Retrieval. Posted when a CR was given. This should be posted only to Nogari, as he keeps track of activity, and the rest of the clan doesn't need to be note-spammed. This was put to a vote and is an official decision, so please observe this request.

SU - Spell Up. Same as CRs, only post to Nogari when you perform a SU.

ABSENT X - Used to indicate days that will be absent. These notes must be posted to the whole clan, as any other note. Replace X with the number of days you will be absent, or 0 (zero) if it is long-term. When using ABSENT 0, the long-term absent status will stay until you ask for it to be removed.
